A captain’s eye over every detail.
With nearly two decades on the water, my career has been defined by a simple philosophy: to lead, you must first understand how things work. I didn’t start in a boardroom; I started on the deck, teaching the fundamentals of wind and water through sailing instruction. That foundation evolved into a 17-year career as a licensed Captain, transitioning from the high-pressure world of commercial charters to the precision-driven world of luxury yacht management.
From High-Performance to Heavy Systems
My experience is as diverse as the ocean itself. I have managed and maintained everything from luxury racing center consoles (Cigarette) to serving as the Engineer/Mate on a 112ft Sunseeker, navigating the busy corridors between Sag Harbor, NY, and Miami, FL. I am a specialist in Vessel Deliveries, with successful passages spanning Texas to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to the Dominican Republic, and extensive routing throughout the Bahamas.
The Engineering Edge
What sets Sea Ready Inc. apart is a deep-seated technical expertise. I recently completed a 3-year comprehensive refit of a 70ft Hatteras at Cable Marine and Bradford in Fort Lauderdale. This wasn’t just oversight; it was a “boots-on-the-ground” transformation of every major system on board. Whether navigating a complex coastal passage or troubleshooting a mechanical failure in the engine room, my goal is to ensure your vessel is safe, efficient, and, above all, Sea Ready.
I’ve spent 17 years learning what makes a boat fail so I can guarantee yours succeeds.
